Press/Gallery: Lauren Cohan, Scott Foley lock horns in ‘Whiskey Cavalier’ trailer

UPI – ABC released the first trailer for Whiskey Cavalier, its new action drama starring The Walking Dead actress Lauren Cohan and Scandal alum Scott Foley.

The title refers to the code name of Foley’s FBI agent Will Chase.

“Following an emotional break-up, Chase is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Francesca ‘Frankie’ Trowbridge (codename: ‘Fiery Tribune,’) played by Lauren Cohan,” a message accompanying the clip on YouTube said. “Together, they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world (and each other) while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics.”

Tuesday’s 3-minute preview shows Chase and Trowbridge meeting for the first time in a bar and immediately becoming rivals as they work the same case. Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams and Vir Das co-star.

‘The Walking Dead’ Ladies Face Off On ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Get it, Sasha and Maggie! Sonequa Martin-Green and Lauren Cohan have a dance war on the March 31 episode of ‘Lip Sync Battle,’ and Sonequa slays the stanky leg.

HOLLYWOOD LIFE – The Walking Dead’s Sasha and Maggie are taking a break from zombies to show off their dance skills. Sonequa Martin-Green and Lauren Cohan have a dancing duel on the new episode of Lip Sync Battle, and Sonequa shows Lauren what she’s made of with her stanky leg!

Sonequa totally rocks out when she hits the stage to battle Lauren. She takes on the song of 2015, Silento’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae-Nae), and doesn’t hold back. Sonequa takes the dance battle to the next level by wowing us with her stanky leg.

Lauren’s off with LL Cool J having a ball watching Sonequa. Lauren looks nearly unrecognizable wearing with a curly wig and black leotard. Have you ever imagined Maggie wearing that?

There’s no word yet on what Lauren will sing, but it’s likely to be epic. She’s already gone all out with her costume, and she’s not going down without a fight. Bring out Glenn or bust, Maggie! Who will win? Honestly, how can we choose between Sasha and Maggie?!

The new episode of Lip Sync Battle comes just a few days before The Walking Dead’s season six finale. The March 27 episode ended with one hell of a twist — Daryl was shot! Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is making his first appearance in the finale, and he’s going to cause a lot of damage.

Lip Sync Battle airs March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on Spike TV. The Walking Dead season six finale airs April 3 at 9 p.m. on AMC.

‘The Walking Dead’ season 6: Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, more go ‘Inside the Actors Studio’

CARTERMATT – Given how popular “The Walking Dead” has become over the years, the biggest surprise to us is that they haven’t had an opportunity to do “Inside the Actors Studio” with James Lipton before now.

It has been announced that cast members Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, and Steven Yeun will join executive producers Robert Kirkman and Scott M. Gimple for a discussion on the February 11 episode of the Bravo series. This allows the cast (or at least the ones in attendance) to get a little bit of face time before the show returns to AMC on February 14, and we’re sure that they will love very much some of the different questions that are asked of them here versus any other interview show on the planet.

We’re certainly going to see a lot of acting chops in the second half of this season, at least based on everything that we’ve had a chance to hear so far. The upcoming episodes are going to test the survivors as they first have to escape from the current invasion of Alexandria, and then figure out a new way to rebuild the town. There are no plans for the group to go anywhere, but there is someone out there in Negan who has plans to take everything from them. Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays this character, and while you will hear his name many times coming up, he won’t actually appear until you get to near the end of the season.

Trust us when we say that we’re going to have much more in the way of news on “The Walking Dead” over the course of the weeks ahead. Be on the lookout for more scoop at this link!
